Welcome to the Spöntz scene group homepage! Here you will find all our public releases plus tons of details and stories about us, and this strange kind of art called demoscene.

Accident in France 2010-03-31 | merlucin

While happily travelling to Germany in order to present our latest demo in the latest Breakpoint, we had an accident with our auto-caravan: a serious impact with a truck that completely destroyed the front of the vehicle. Fortunately there were no serious injuries, although we had to return back to Spain in a cab. The demo will have to wait for the next demo party to be presented! In the picture you can see part of the vehicle's circuitry, that survived the impact.

  Quintessence 2009-10-29 | merlucin
Finally we have completed the Windows and MacOS X versions of Quintessence, the demo we presented at the MainParty #4 festival in Arles (France) obtaining the 6th place out of 15 demo productions. There we found really fine masterworks from sceners of several countries. Our admiration goes this time to the group Adinpsz, creators of the demo Extatique, that got the first place and one of the most fresh productions of this year.

Satan comes back from Hell 2009-08-20 | merlucin
Started in the Breakpoint 2009 and ended in the work office, this song was recorded with a plantronics headset and the shitty mac mini of the meeting room. Got the second place in the Euskal 17 High Quality Music competition. The lyrics pertain to a small fridge's instruction manual, but readed upside down.

  Don't deceive me 2009-07-26 | merlucin
Here is the demo that we were preparing during this year for the Euskal Encounter XVII in Bilbao (Spain). Finally unveiling the real appearance of some of the people behind the Spontz demoengine, this demo represents once more the nonsense that maintains the demoscene alive. And for MacOSX an Windows, as usual!
