 | | Spontz Visuals Editor 2.0 2009-07-04 | merlucin
After months years of work, here is the next version of our demo editor, as usual only recommended for brave hearts and sometimes even more difficult that simply coding your demo in C++ :) This version includes a realtime preview, support for Frame Buffer Objects, GLSL shaders, and a realtime expression evaluation system that allows to vary almost any parameter using simple algebraic expressions. But wait! there is more! Included with the demo editor are several small demo projects we use to test it and, of course, we have released the source files for three of our last demos. |
 | | Hermine, by Pinza 2009-03-11 | pinza
Pinza presented a mp3 stream to the breakpoint, obtaining the 7th place out of 16. This beautiful music called "Hermine" escapes from the traditional demoscene style and features real instruments played by himself |
 | | pomod 0.7.6 is out! 2009-03-15 | xphere
Here is a new version of pomod, the definitive modules player for pocketPC! Build over the famous FMOD libraries, this new version offers better MP3 support (ability to move the playhead while playing), better stability, playlist saving and reloading and better preferences handling |
 | | Death of the death 2008-04-01 | merlucin
We spent four hours in this experiment, presented in the open demo competition at Breakpoint. There was a lot of people in the party coding very different things, and we couldn't resist the pressure to compete. unfortunately the demo only runs for a minute, but it was a minute of good competition! :) Dynimix came back with a great music and xphere, isaac2 and merlucin put the best of themselves in this prod. Enjoy! |
 | | Particles of the death 2007-11-14 | merlucin
Finally I got time to update the website with our latest demo: Particles of the death. Sponsored by AMB and the ingent amounts of pizza he provided to merlucin, and powered by the Isaac2 shaders directly there at BCN Party 111. Finally we couldn't win the democompo because Ham presented his superb demo for GP2X with incredible music from JosSs so we got the last position in the ranking.... anyway we will continue trying :) |
 | | Cosmosis: The making of: Chapter 4 2007-09-30 | merlucin
A realtime generated sky using static textures as particles (and these particles as clouds) plus a dust filter were enough to get this scene up and running in the screen! |
 | | pomod 0.7 is out! 2007-09-28 | xphere
Xphere has build a new version of pomod, his audio player for pocketPC! Based on the fmod libraries, this free player features MP3, OGG, WAV, MOD, IT, XM and S3M reproduction. And the code is also free. you can take a look to it in Google Code. |
 | | Cosmosis: The making of: Chapter 3 2008-08-01 | merlucin
The hidden secrets behind the underwater scene unveiled at last! Find here certain details that probably couldn't be appreciated in the final projection. |
 | | Cosmosis: The making of: Chapter 2 2007-08-26 | merlucin
God created the earth in six days. We only could get a fake earth in such time, but as everything in OpenGL depends of the point of view of the camera, the results are almost the same. |
 | | Cosmosis: the making of: Chapter 1 2007-08-18 | merlucin
I am pleased to announce the first chapter of the making of cosmosis: remix, where I will try to explain the concepts, decissions and tricks behind this demo. Although this chapter is not very graphic, it serves as a good introduction. More to come! |
